ADVENT WORKSHOP AND FESTIVAL

The Advent workshop is a free, beautiful all-parish assembly that celebrates the holy season of Advent followed by a festival for all ages, held before or after Mass.

Each year, families have the opportunity to make their Advent wreath with fresh greens brought in by parishioners, and Advent candles, ribbons, styrofoam bases, and other materials provided by the parish. All materials are provided.
There are around 10 craft tables for families to make charming Christmas gifts with a religious, seasonal, or symbolic theme.

Volunteers are appreciated. There are opportunities for teens through adults who wish to share their talents and time, and offer hospitality to parishioners and visitors during this event.

RELIGIOUS ART FESTIVAL

St. Charles Borromeo Parish is host to the annual Religious Art Festival, a Lenten inter-generational festival celebrating God through sacred art in a variety of mediums. There includes an art gallery of religious art, music, private collections, visual media, hands-on religious arts and crafts for both adults and children, literature, holy cards, door prizes and light refreshments for all.
