Funeral Reception Committee

Those who are baptized into Christ and nourished at the same table of the Lord are responsible for one another.

When a member of St. Charles parish dies, our Funeral Reception Committee is called to a ministry of consolation for those who have suffered the loss of a loved one. They provide a brunch or luncheon reception following the funeral service held at St. Charles for the bereaved family. Funeral reception cooks prepare salads or breakfast breads and deserts for the reception while reception team members prepare a hot dish, set up, serve and clean up after the reception. Volunteers and donations sustain this ministry.
