Baptism

At Baptism, Christ's Spirit and the community of believers embrace the one Baptized, committing themselves to be his or her loving companions in life's journey.

TO ARRANGE FOR THE BAPTISM OF A NEWBORN

Parents, who are the first to teach their children what it means to be a disciple of Christ, are asked to attend two preparation sessions prior to the celebration of baptism. The classes are offered quarterly.

BAPTISM CLASSES consist of two sessions:

  • Discipleship Dinner: Begins with a potluck dinner at 6 pm. Families are asked to bring a salad or dessert if possible.
  • The Catholic Parent and Rite of Baptism begins at 7 p.m.
  • Dates for Summer, Fall and Winter sessions will be added in July.
